ADDING A PROPERTY
To add a property simply click the green ‘New Property’ option in the top right of the main Properties page.
You can optionally add a nickname and an image, but must add the full address.
There is an option to add the property group (which must have been set up in advance). You can always select No Group and then come back to update this later after saving. A Property can only be in one group.
Once a property has been added, you can edit it further to add more info but the initial set up with the above data is required first.
EDITING A PROPERTY
To edit a properties info (like updating the nickname, changing the group or adding more advanced data) is done by clicking in to the property by selecting anywhere in the row. This takes you to a property detail page like this.
In the top right is an option to Edit the property.
From here you will see additional fields that were not present on the initial setup. Bear in mind the dashboard is a shared platform with our PropertyCare, YourWelcome Tablets and GuestGuides products so not all of the fields will have features used by YourCompliance.
REMOVING / ARCHIVING A PROPERTY
Removing a property is a 2 step process. First you must archive a property, archiving moves the property to a separate (archive) section of the Properties page which can be accessed by clicking the Archive icon in the top right.
To archive a property you must click in to it from the main All Properties page. Click the Edit option in the top right and scroll to the bottom of the edit options where you will see a red ‘Archive’ button. Pressing this will move the property to the Archive section and it will no longer be visible in the main All Properties page. Archiving a property automatically removes the associated applied subscription freeing up a slot to assign to an alternative property. As archived properties do not have applied subscriptions, they will no longer show as selectable options from the various settings pages – thus any settings previously applied will be removed (and therefore any reminders, messages etc will be stopped for archived properties).
Note, an archived property can NOT be clicked in to (to view its certificates etc) so though we do not remove any associated certificates or checks data, you will need to Unarchive the property if you want to view anything. To Unarchive you must visit the Archive page, then tick the multi-select check boxes to the left of the property rows you want to unarchive and then once at least one item is ticked the mult-select menu is shown and you can choose the option to Unarchive. This will move the property back to your All Properties page.
If you wish to permanently delete properties you can only do so from the Archive tab by ticking each property and selecting delete from the bulk action menu. Deletion is final so bear in mind any uploaded certificates or check reports will be irretrievable for deleted properties.
